Day One - Hearst Castle Tour - September 24th, 2002
The tour was very informative as well as impressive. A person could go back 4 times a year and take each of the 4 tours over and over and still see things that they did not previously. The company of the group was wonderful! 2002 enthusiasts and genuinely nice folks. We have a very special guest with us this week - Colin Clarke from Australia. He flew all the way here JUST to take in the sites, sounds and surroundings of the Central Coast and 2002 Fest West! Since he owns both a Tii and a Touring - we knew that he would fit right in! A great chap to have around and provide us with some of the wit and insight to our friends "down under". THANKS Colin for sharing this week with us! We lunched in Cambria and then headed back to SLO for a small dinner gathering at one of the downtown's more famous restaurants. The end to a great day! |
