The finale to the big event in 2002 was a "day at the races"! Jeff Ireland, owner of Ireland Engineering racing was our host at the now famed Buttonwillow racetrack located outside of Bakersfield, CA. The day was warm as usual in the Central Valley of California. We had a good turnout of owners and enthusiasts to enjoy the days events. The sanctioning body for the races was the VARA (Vintage Automobile Racing Association). We would like to thank Jeff for his hospitality and his support throughout the years of the 2002 Fest West!
