The big year for the 2002 was in guess what, 2002!  That year we hosted over 200 2002's and many more
various BMW models including our favorite "beamer" bikes.  That number of cars will probably not be met
again, at least not in the near future.  If it is, we set the standard by which all others strive to achieve.

That effort required months of planning and years to achieve.  With the help of our longtime loyal sponsors
and dedicated volunteer staff we attained this goal.  We also achieved this by YOU, the 2002 enthusiast
who would visit and register each year in order to be a part of this history making event.

Times change... especially for the prices of gas in California! The company of the owners who come and
frequent the event year after year have become close personal friends through the Fest.  For this fellowship,
we exist as a common way to celebrate the pride in ownership and longevity of our cars.

However, this may not fit with owners who wish to attend the Fest just for awards. For this need there are
other shows/events around the state and country which provide that type of recognition.

As we have mentioned  with the history of the event we have "been there, done that".  We continue to set
new trends with our event.  These will be unveiled in the coming years in order to continue to be the leader
of the "2002 Fest's" nationwide!

This years event was a very low key, casual event compared to years past. It was important that we
get back to the roots of what 2002 Fests were meant to be - especially after Fifteen years of fellowship
with our cars!

The time it takes each year in scheduling and hosting this event and running a full time 2002 business is
never easy. When you attend the event and register for the Fest, it allows us to continue this tradition.

We would like to thank each and every 2002 owner who has supported our event during the past 15 years
which has earned the status of the "oldest 2002 event in the country!"
